Trips and Visits
Our programme of trips and visits is an integral component of our academic curriculum and an effective tool to consolidate our pupils’ learning experiences. Each academic department offers a variety of day trips to support classroom learning, as well as residential and overseas trips to broaden experience and make lasting memories.
With easy access to London, there are myriad options for day trips to museums, galleries, lectures and the theatre. Our pupils visit the Houses of Parliament, enjoy guided tours of historic districts and eat at French and Spanish restaurants to practise their language skills. Beyond the capital, there is an annual trip to Bath and Stonehenge, regular trips to the coast and field trips to the Surrey hills for our geographers and scientists.
We also offer a range of residential trips in the UK and abroad, for example to Rome, Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris and Reykjavik, an annual trip to the Battlefields of the First World War, a ski trip to Italy and an art weekend in St Ives in Cornwall.
